Touch is given to us not only for physically exploration of the world around us, but also to communicate with others by creating and maintaining social bonds.
Hugs lower your heart rate and promote your brain cell connections, reduces stress and anxiety levels, you experience immediate feelings of pleasure and well-being.
But hugs not only have relaxing and calming effect, they also improve your sleep, reduces reactivity to stress, and even could help us fight off infections.
Research even suggests that cuddling in bed could protect us against the common cold.
If our close ones could not hug us because of separation it can increase our possibility for premature death.
Of course, not everyone craves a hug and in some cultures hugging is even not a common thing among the family members. So for those that don’t, there’s no reason to worry about missing out on the benefits of hugs – you can hug yourself and it has also been shown to regulate emotional processes and reduce stress.
Our special hug promoting items will remind you how important hugs is for your mental and physical well-being and probably it cold help you to send the big hug to those from whom you are still separated for different reasons.

]]>For example, in ancient Greece, snakes were associated with Asclepius, the god of medicine and healing, who had a staff with a snake coiled around it. This symbol is still used today by medical organizations.
In Hinduism, snakes are revered as nagas, divine beings that protect water sources and bring fertility and prosperity.
In Christianity, snakes are often seen as evil and deceptive, as in the story of the Garden of Eden, where the serpent tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit.
2. The swan is another animal symbol that starts with the letter S.
Swans are usually associated with beauty, grace, elegance, and purity.
They are also symbols of love and fidelity, as they mate for life and form strong bonds with their partners. For example, in Greek mythology, swans were sacred to Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty.
In Celtic mythology, swans were shape-shifters that could transform into humans or other animals.
In Chinese culture, swans are symbols of harmony and happiness, as they are pronounced as he or hong, which sound like the words for harmony and happiness.
3. There is another creepy creature - the spider the another animal symbol that starts with the letter S.
Spiders are often associated with creativity, cunning, patience, and fate. They are also symbols of the web of life and the interconnectedness of all things. For example, in Native American cultures, spiders are revered as creators and teachers. One of the most famous spider figures is Spider Woman or Spider Grandmother, who is said to have woven the world into existence and taught humans how to weave and make pottery.
In African cultures, spiders are often depicted as tricksters and storytellers. One of the most famous spider characters is Anansi, who is known for his cleverness and wit.
In European cultures, spiders are sometimes seen as omens of good or bad luck, depending on their color and behavior. I remember my mother saying to do not press the spider if its is in the house let him live as it could bring and good luck. I still no not press them, I let them out of house to make their webs somewhere else to catch the flies and other creepies of halloween stuff:)

The Letter S in Music of the Universe
The letter S is the symbol for the musical note Sol or G in the solfège system, which is a method of teaching music by using syllables for each note. For those who are more educated in music probably know it already, but for rest of us it explains why Sol is associated with air.
It is the fifth note of the diatonic scale, which corresponds to the fifth element or quintessence in classical philosophy. But what does it means - fifth element? According to ancient or so called medieval science, aether is known as the fifth element or quintessence, is the material that fills the region of the Universe beyond the terrestrial realm.
Sol is also related to yellow because it is the color of the sun, which gives light and warmth to the earth. Sol is also linked to mercury because it is the metal that vibrates at the same frequency as sol or G in the musical scale.
Sol represents communication because it is the note that expresses joy, happiness, and celebration. Sol represents intelligence because it is the note that harmonizes with do or C, the first note of the scale and the root of all musical chords.
Sol represents creativity because it is the note that inspires artistic expression and imagination. Sol represents flexibility because it is the note that can be altered by sharps or flats to create different modes and moods.
The Letter S in Science
For me personally as I am studied biology and chemistry myself the letter S is the symbol for the element sulfur, which is yellow in color and has a strong odor. Sulfur is associated with air because it is found in the atmosphere as sulfur dioxide, a gas that contributes to acid rain and volcanic eruptions. Sulfur is also linked to mercury because it forms compounds with mercury, such as cinnabar, a red mineral that was used as a pigment and a source of mercury in ancient times.
Sulfur represents communication because it was used to make matches, fireworks, and gunpowder, which were used for signaling and warfare. Sulfur represents intelligence because it was considered a vital substance in alchemy, the medieval science of transforming metals and discovering the secrets of nature. Sulfur represents creativity because it was used to make various artistic materials, such as paints, dyes, and medicines. Sulfur represents flexibility because it can change its form and color depending on the temperature and pressure.
The Letter S in Astrology
Letter S is also symbol of astrological sign Sagittarius, which is represented by a centaur archer. Sagittarius adapts easily to changing situations and environments. Sagittarius is also linked to yellow because it is ruled by Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system, which has a yellowish hue. Sagittarius is also connected to mercury because it is a sign of travel, exploration, and learning. Sagittarius represents communication because it is a sign of honesty, optimism, and enthusiasm. Sagittarius represents intelligence because it is a sign of wisdom, philosophy, and spirituality. Sagittarius represents creativity because it is a sign of adventure, freedom, and diversity. Sagittarius represents flexibility because it is a sign of openness, generosity, and tolerance
Letter S in Magic
Letter S are often used in different kind of sigils - a symbol that is used to manifest a specific intention or desire, usually by combining the letters of a statement or name into a single graphic. Sigils are often used in various forms of open and hidden magic, such as chaos magic, ceremonial magic, and even centuries old witchcraft using using a magic square, a rose cross, a planetary kamea, or a personal cipher.
There are different alphabets used to create the secret sigils, but one of them - the Malachim alphabet is still used by Freemasons to a limited extent, where it is considered one of the sacred alphabets of the ancient mysteries. The Malachim alphabet has 22 letters that correspond to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet, plus five final forms that are used at the end of words.
Letter S in Religions
But for all of us outside the secret societies letter S most often show up in its traditional, cultural or religious context. In Christianity, the letter S is often used as an abbreviation for the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Savior of the world. The letter S is also the first letter of the Latin word Sanctus, which means "holy" or "saint". The letter S is sometimes combined with other letters or symbols to form monograms or emblems that represent Jesus or his followers.
In Judaism, the letter S is the symbol for Shaddai, one of the names of God in the Hebrew Bible. Shaddai is usually translated as "Almighty" or "All-Sufficient". The letter S is also the symbol for Shalom, a Hebrew word that means "peace", "wholeness", "well-being", or "completeness". Shalom is used as a greeting and a farewell, as well as a blessing and a prayer. The letter S is also related to the Star of David, a hexagram that consists of two interlocking triangles. The Star of David is a symbol of Judaism and Israel, as well as a protective amulet and a mystical sign. The Star of David has various interpretations and meanings, such as representing God's rule over the universe in six directions (north, south, east, west, up, and down), or symbolizing the union of male and female principles.
In Hinduism, the letter S is the symbol for Shiva, one of the principal deities of the religion. Shiva is known as the destroyer, the transformer, and the patron of yoga and arts. The letter S is also the symbol for Shakti, the feminine principle of divine energy and power. Shakti is often personified as a goddess, such as Parvati, Durga, or Kali. Shiva and Shakti are often depicted as a couple, representing the balance and harmony of opposites.
The letter S is also associated with the sound Om or Aum, which is considered to be the sacred syllable and the essence of all mantras. Om is composed of three sounds: A, U, and M. The sound A represents creation and Brahma, the creator god. The sound U represents preservation and Vishnu, the preserver god. The sound M represents destruction and Shiva, the destroyer god. The silence that follows Om represents the supreme reality that transcends all names and forms.
More about letter S and its symbolic meaning as animal totem I will write you next time.
As well let's find out about letter M in next blog post, coming soon.

In first months of schooling almost every parent had experienced some kind of sudden child's sick feeling in morning following with no will to go to school anymore. But did you know the right reason for that ? Is child really had caught some kind of virus or eat bad food last night?
Yes, sometimes it could be just sweaty run back to home with open coat and glass of ice cold milk directly from fridge while you are not watching, but sometimes it could be more connected to child's emotional well being at the school.
Well, it also could be the school anxiety, but what is it?
Did you ever heard about it before? Or you think it is just few exceptional cases and it is not concerning you at all?
But seems school anxiety is a condition that makes children feel extremely scared and worried about going to school and the activities that happen there, such as making friends, speaking in public, or taking tests. School anxiety can affect children of all ages and backgrounds, and it can make them feel sick, sad, or angry. School anxiety can also make them avoid or miss school, which can affect their learning and development.
Well, at least some of school anxiety signs every parent could be noticed during child schooling, but how aware we as parents are about it? I have 3 grown ups myself, but I never had heard about this issue from anybody from school professionals, so I hope this could help some of you who still have children in schooling age.
How you can help your child?
Before asking for help around keep it in your family, talk to the child and ask every single day how was your day at school, all was good or something worried you? What was best that happened today? Do you follow the classes or you need some help from me too? Let them release his/her suppressed emotions, because not so much of emotional expressions are allowed in any educational establishment.
Here is few things how you can help your child at home by:
- Providing a safe and comfortable space for them to relax and unwind
- Asking about their day and praising their efforts and achievements
- Modeling healthy coping skills and sharing your own challenges and solutions
- Help them to get organized, to make and follow his/her own must to do list
- Providing opportunities for socialization and fun with family and friends
- Giving them a grounding item that could be as secret empowering talisman
Be example, children are great copy makers, they watch how you cope with your own struggles in life and builds their confidence that they can do the same and will feel supported at home.
I had met great teacher, who proposed to parents to think about something that child can use as grounding item to overcome his anxiety. It could be some little talisman in a pocket to hold in hand when feeling uncomfortable, it could be just a fresh picked chestnut on the way to school or customized pencil box with some uplifting saying, food box with funny message inside or drink ware with his name, whatever can remind him, your are always there to back him. Just make sure you are not substitute these thing with sugar snacks. Sugar snacks will make them feel even more anxious than before.
We are prepared special offer to help your kid overcome school anxiety by very simple method - keep hydrated and sip every single time when feeling stressed and need calm down to keep focus or not to fall in bulling trap.
Drinking water can help overcome school anxiety in several ways. According to some studies, dehydration can cause or worsen anxiety, depressed mood, difficulty concentrating, fatigue and headaches in children and adults. These symptoms can interfere with school performance and well-being. Therefore, staying hydrated can help prevent or reduce these negative effects and improve mood, energy level and cognitive function.
Additionally, drinking water can also provide some relief from anxiety by helping to regulate the body's temperature, blood pressure, heart rate and digestion. These are some of the physiological processes that are affected by the stress response. By keeping them stable, water can help the body cope better with stressful situations.
Some experts also suggest that drinking water can have a calming effect on the mind by creating a sense of fullness and satisfaction. This can reduce the urge to eat or drink something else that may worsen anxiety, such as caffeine, alcohol or sugary foods. Drinking water can also be a form of self-care and a way to distract oneself from anxious thoughts or feelings.
To reap the benefits of drinking water for school anxiety, it is important to drink enough water throughout the day. The exact amount may vary depending on age, weight, activity level and climate, but a general guideline is to drink about eight glasses of water per day. It may also help to drink water before, during and after school, especially if there are exams, presentations or other stressful events. Drinking water should be part of a balanced diet that includes other healthy foods and drinks that can support mental health.
Our body is miraculous capacity to adapt and we can help it to do it better by providing right resources.
Best regards and hope it helped you to be better parent and show your care.

According to etymology salamandre means "legendary lizard-like creature supposed to live in fire," from Old French salamandre "legendary fiery beast". Aristotle, and especially Pliny, are responsible for the fiction of an animal that thrives in and extinguishes fires. They lives in damp logs and secretes a milky substance when threatened, but there is no obvious natural explanation for the myth that these creatures can live in the fire. The word also was given as a name to a type of imaginary elemental of fire in late 17th century.
If it comes to you in your dreams it symbolizes your ability to survive through shame, misfortune, and mistakes you are captivated by great trip and have an impressive sense of self organization.
If salamander visit your home, consider yourself lucky as it could restoring the work-home balance in your life. However be aware it also could be witch sneaking around and gathering information about your private life or business.
Choosing salamander as your spiritual guide you can improve your level of sensitivity, it helps you to unleash the power that for long has been dormant within you. Light up your fire and be ready for transformation and let its energy bring you to the surface again. People believe the creature could walk through flames and come out without the least sign of damage. So it’s not surprising to discover the Salamander had symbolism similar to the Phoenix-rebirth, immortality, power, rebirth, passion and the ability to withstand flames.
What a great choice to choose salamander as design as cute phone coat with hidden meaning.

]]>This change was caused by new smartphone model designs which are not suitable to carve plain wood phone cases because of the camera position and we should react to these new market conditions.
I know it is painful and a lot of you loved our plain wood phone cases just like it does for us.
I still use one of these old babies for myself and can't change it to the new one, but I have quite an old phone from Samsung Galaxy series, which is in very good shape so I do not feel I would need to change it.
However my husband was the first customer testing the new model and he appreciated the new version a lot.
He said, of course, he misses the wood edges around the screen, but it feels lighter in the hand and is not so bulky anymore. It has easier access to all buttons and that is the real deal, isn't it? Especially if you are a different gadget geek and use different phone extension accessories.
New version has flexible edges and also allows the use of screen protection film, which is widely used for most of the smartphone users, especially those who are always in a hurry.
We kept almost all our designs available for new phone cases models, just few so called our antiques were replaced with rising star designs created as inspiration from our Etsy customers and followers on Instagram. To see the latest news of our wooden phone cases take a look in our Facebook and Instagram profiles.
And now the best thing ever happened in Litha Creations France, we received only good reviews about these new models, except a few very negative ones from people who can't accept changing old models to new one.
As a lot of our customers and potential clients still use older edition smartphones and they are not ready to give up the pleasant touch of the real wood. As farewell for our old collections we made Special Limited Editions of some old models with few designs from our collections. For example for Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus plain walnut wood phone cases were made and for Huawei P20 Pro rosewood phone cases and our preferred cherry wood phone cases were made for Huawei P20. Few leftovers for even older models are still available, just send us a message if you own one of the older smartphone versions, maybe we still have some in our stock.
This is a very limited edition and will be offered to our customers at the end of 2022 and probably also in 2023.
For stubborn folks, including myself :), who refuse to accept the new version, we have decided to keep an open offer to custom request for some specific models if technically a plain wood phone case is possible to make.
See plain wood phone case collection listings here, and send us a message to say how you like them.
You also can send us a request to make your own custom design via WhatsApp as always and we will engrave your own design only for you for a very friendly price.
Have a great holiday season at the end of 2022 and we wish you all HAPPY NEW YEAR !

It's based on shape of hexagon, but did you see that it looks like a hemp leaf? Various sources tell us that “Asa” means hemp and “ha” means leaf.
Hm, interesting, especially because this pattern is so old and has been known since 8th century in Japan culture. The hemp plant is a fast-growing and very resistant plant that produces a tall straight tree in as little as four months and its imagery is associated with growth and children's health, so it is usually used in children clothing. Use this pattern on phone case means not only physical protection, but also protection from harm or evil spirits and symbolizes a good and healthy growth, vigor, resistance or resilience, and of course prosperity. This pattern has ‘no season’ and can be worn throughout the year.

When we are in love we call our loved ones is sweet name ''Honey''. But did you ever thought where it come from why we use this word.
Etymology dictionary (www.etymonline.com) says following:
honey (n.)
Middle English hony, from Old English hunig "honey," from Proto-Germanic *hunang- (source also of Old Norse hunang, Swedish honung, Old Saxon honeg, Old Frisian hunig, Middle Dutch honich, Dutch honig, Old High German honang, German Honig "honey"), of uncertain origin. Perhaps from a PIE *k(e)neko- denoting yellow, golden, or brownish colors (compare Sanskrit kancan- "golden," Welsh canecon "gold," Greek knēkos "yellowish"), or perhaps from a substratum word. Finnish hunaja is a Germanic loan-word.
The more common Indo-European word is represented in Germanic by the Gothic word for "honey," miliþ (from PIE root *melit- "honey"). A term of endearment from at least mid-14c.; extended form honey-bunch attested by 1904. Meaning "anything good of its kind" is 1888, American English. Honey-locust, North American tree, so called from 1743, said to be named from a sweet pulp made by Native Americans from the tree's beans.
honey (v.)
"to sweeten, cover with honey," mid-14c., from honey (n.). Related: Honeyed; honeying.
So it means lovers put honey on their skin to give their skin sweet taste? Probably, but we are sure there are something more to learn about honey and secret life of bees. Honey is known for centuries to humanity all around the world an could be used as great health booster and it It has been used as both a food and a medicine.
Probably in every single home has some sort of honey made by bees - one of the most important pollinators. Pollinators directly contribute to food production for humans. Nearly three quarters of the plants that produce 90 per cent of the world’s food require this external help.
Here was so much to read and learn about bees and honey, use of it in skin care and well being. So we decided to make one of our most loved designs ''My honey''. We started with our first wood phone cases and it become quit popular at that time.
My Honey Wood phone case by Litha Creations France
Bees itself is the symbol of activity, unstoppable work, diligence and perfect order, where everybody has its own place but all works together for service of queen or mother. In Christianity bees are symbol of all positive and sweet metaphors. Bees as symbol used as your personal totem means you are steeped in power, speaking to the sacred calling both of the individual and the collective. If you hear this inner voice calling stop and listen what it zooms in your head, follow the ideas like bees follow the magnetic fields of the Earth and always find where honey is. Could your new travel mug with honeycombs and bees managing your personal energy? Symbolism says ''Bees Totem gives you clarity about your path in life. Work is not a problem for you, nor is play.''
O, yes, but give me some rest:), bees are surrounded with most beautiful flowers even in their long journey from one to another and could go really far while bringing back full ''buckets with pollen''.
Every culture bring some new perspective in symbolism reading, Druids, for example, had always very special relationship with trees, and, of course, bees and with the Earth at large. Bees were considered sacred to the Goddess. This is likely at least in part because Bees live in matriarchal societies. The Queen Bee representative of the Goddess and Divine Feminine.
Their hypnotic sound could be used as great meditation background just lay down in hot summer day in meadow close your eyes and listen and you will find the peace in your heart.
As our collection developed we also made Wood Travel mug with the same design and later also added thermos in the collection.

At these last decades science are almost completed this unique property of every single human being with idea about digital ID. That was a our inspiration to create design called Digital Print.
Remember YOU ALWAYS HAS A CHOICE and solution even it does not seems so, try to be creative and ask help of your higher self, listen your intuition and your will find the best answer for you. Every single human being on this Earth should be free just like birds in the evening sky, humans are not means to live in micro-schemes or so called smart cities, where every single step of human being will be controled by artificial system alien to human civilization.
Are you really would be happy to live in such a distopia?
Peacock also is a symbol of vanity because of its beauty and the way it displays his feathers. It shows his integrity and the beauty we can achieve when we endeavor to show our true nature. You can use the powers of the peacock when you need more vibrancy and vitality in your own life and experience, to embrace your own nobility. You can walk straight and be proud as peacock does! In mythology and legends the peacock symbolism means Nobility, Holiness, Guidance, Protection and Watchfulness.
When peacock spread it tail plums as all over watching eyes fan it is such a magnificent moment than it definitely reminds Alex Grey paintings with thousands eyes just made by touch of universal wisdom and mother nature.
Peacock is power animal for performers, artists, or anyone who just need a boost to do something, call him and it comes to helping you gain confidence. It is not a secret that all great artist and performers also had big EGO, but it is nature of any society, somebody will be a performer and somebody always will be only watcher:)
Peacock’s eye-filled plumage helps it bluff its way out of potential danger from other animals. His power is his bluff, you need to “fake it till you make it”, the peacock is exactly what you need to help it happen. Glimpses of the peacock’s ability to masquerade may be seen in the many trickster characters the First People have in cultures of South Asia and Africa and still is used with great success in modern society. We see more and more people much easier believe in bluff than in truth, and it is much more easier to blind them with bright and colorful feathers.
So the peacock’s beauty represents both a positive and negative aspect, and we could all live better lives if we learn how to appreciate both sides.
I really recommend you read more about symbolism of peacocks in art and culture described by Anna Hoffman in her very delicious blog Fine Feathers: A Brief History of the Peacock as Decoration
Thank you for reading this story behind the designs of peacocks from our collection.

Flag of New Mexico, consists of sacred red sun symbol borrowed from Zia tribe symbolism.
Four pointed star also known as the Star of Bethlehem or natal star, this star represents both Jesus' birth and the purpose for which he was born.
This pattern was made based on ancient national heritage symbols all around the world and also in France - 4 leaves decor known as ''quadrilobé'' and it is a decorative element consisting of a symmetrical shape which forms the overall outline of four partially overlapping circles of the same diameter. It is found in art, architecture, heraldry and traditional Christianity symbolism. It has used not only in ancient folk art patterns but also still is used in modern time heraldry attributes, for example, in logo of Conseil General of french department Alps-Maritimes (French Riviera) where we live and where our products are made.
French department Alpes-Maritimes was part of Italy till 1793, when first French Republic Conquered these ancient Romain territories. Nobody knows from where and when exactly these geometric symbols took their place as french symbolic heritage. ''Quadrilobé'' could be found in architecture in one of famous Venice's private Gothic palaces Ca'D'oro.
and many Gothic style chapels and Roman cathedrals in France, England and other parts of Europe. Four leaves pattern is well known in Japanese folk art and Oriental patterns.
Probably had more deeper roots connected to ancient believes about how this world is constructed, including legend of 4 rivers coming from North pole and dividing Earth plane by their waters.
Portugal uses 'Quadrilobé' shapes in their euro coins in different combinations.
Colorful ''Quadrilobé'' decors was used in Designer Handbag Mugs
''Quadrilobé'' decors is widely used in French GIEN ceramic floor tiles and plates as inspiration form oriental patterns.
Earliest Louis Vuitton in their experimentation with different geometric patterns also included several forms of ''Quadrilobé'' even included simple chessboard pattern, but never claimed to own any of these geometric patterns.
As Bernard Hasquenoph mentioned in his article published in webpage louvrepourtous.fr very interesting facts, hidden from most of brand lovers, way back on October 22, 2010 about Louis Vuitton 150 anniversary exhibition, gathering together for the first time the iconic trunks and luggages which have embodied the Art of Travel for more than 150 years. Exibition also has showed the Gien earthenware tiles that cover the walls of the kitchen of the Vuitton family home in Asnières at the time and has almost the same pattern.
Louis Vuitton family used several simple geometric patterns, but non of them was possible to claim as their own original, so "Georges Vuitton seeks inspiration in his intellectual environment" ... and in his cuisine tiles:), which is not clearly confirmed, of course.
But Louis Vuitton key to success was not its geometric pattern, but unique patented lock system. In 1886, his son George invented and patented an ingenious locking system that made it impossible to pick the lock of their trunks. Globe or it is plane, because that is what planet means.
Really? What else do we have as proof for it? Is solid firmament over Flat Earth that holds all water vapor in and has its own sun that warms all up? Could it be the biggest secret of all ages?
This concept could look really ridiculous before you start to check the facts and make your own research. I have to warn you, there will not be a way back, when you will start to research this topic even just for fun and curiosity.
It could be great brain exercise if you would like to prove it to yourself just strictly based on science and facts. I wish you a great time to explore this subject. I highly recommend the YouTube channel of Eric Dubay, who had enough bravery to open this huge subject for public discussion.

The species is native to temperate and subarctic regions in the Northern Hemisphere and are most common found in almost all Northern Hemisphere pagan cultures.

Amanita muscaria contains muscimol that produces feelings of euphoria, hallucinations, muscle jerks, drowsiness, sweating, pupil dilation, and increased body temperature. Symptoms appear 30 to 90 minutes after eating this mushroom and are most intense after two or three hours. People who eat these mushrooms usually fall into a deep sleep. Some people describe the effects of eating Amanita muscaria as similar to being intoxicated by alcohol.
Image from Pinterest
No other mushroom presents more of hidden symbolism than the fly agaric, Amanita muscaria. It is the most recognizable mushroom on the planet, and is widely known as the hallucinatory ‘shroom responsible for Alice’s trip into Wonderland and quite possibly our beloved images of a red-suited Santa Claus and his flying reindeer.
Image from Lewis Carroll book ''Alice in wonderland'', drawings by John Tenniel, 1941
Ancient tribes and civilizations used hallucinogenic fungi to enter the spirit world. The fly agaric may have been the earliest hallucinogenic substance used for religious or shamanic purposes, dating back possibly over 10,000 years. The shamanic preparation and use of the mushroom are meant to induce higher levels of consciousness, vivid visions, spiritual growth, elation and hyperactivity. They also alter the perception of sight, sounds etc (the senses) and change/enhance the feelings and thoughts of the user. The shamans were intermediaries between the common folk and the unseen worlds of spirit. The shamans, or medicine men, of East Asia and Siberia used the mushroom mentally ‘flying’ to other levels of reality.
Reindeer in northern Europe are drawn to the amanitas euphoric effects. The Siberian people would note the intoxicated behavior of such animals and slaughter them to get the same effects from eating the meat. Reindeer meat meals are still traditional even for modern Christmas table:) and Christmas reindeer sweaters became as icon to bring this special Christmas feeling in your home:)

Nordic design from Litha Creations wood phone cases collection
The active hallucinogenic ingredient is passed out in the urine of those ingesting the mushrooms. Sometimes the shaman/medicine man, takes the mushrooms, and then the rest of the tribe drink his urine. Though sounding highly unpleasant to modern ears, if the shaman had been fasting, the urine would have mainly been water containing the hallucinogenic compounds.
Siberian shaman working with Amanita Muscaria
Amanita muscaria, like other Shamanic plant medicines, are indeed hallucinogens. The psychedelic compounds are muscimol and ibotenic acid and, if eaten raw, the mushrooms can cause sweating, nausea, chills, salivation, and vomiting. But when dried or boiled before consumption, the chemical make-up is changed and the effects become milder, creating a sense of inebriation, impaired balance, euphoria, and increased clarity of thought.
Litha Creations has made product collection associated with this ancient psychedelic traditions and these designs are still very popular specially as Christmas gifts.
Our favorite design is Vintage Amanita, we love this old style drawing and we are happy to see how it turned out in our products.

This morning I received email from Margie and it gave me inspiration to write this blog post. She is not only one who has these questions, so hope it will be helpful for others too.
She wrote me: I am very interested in the travel mug for a very good friend (well we're actually dating for a few months now :-)). I would love to add the following proverb but wanted to get your take if I should add something else on the opposite side (maybe my initials, date or some sort of a pic) not sure.
"The Seeker Of Knowledge Will Never Have Enough" African Proverb
I would love to get some ideas from you, if possible.
I answered to Margie to give her some ideas and decided to extend my answer even much more deeper here.
That's is always a great idea to offer some personalized gift to our friends or family, and we are realized so many personalized mugs with very meaningful phrases and sometimes also very stupid phases:) Items with dates, names, initials or photos for couples with their special moments - wedding or travel, daily scenes with babies, dogs and cats. Every couple has its own secret places, events, special moments to remember. So, I really not sure how anyone from outside, like me, can choose personalized design for your special friends that can reflect importance of your relationship.
You can find some of personalized engraving at our instagram account, but it just a small part we are engraved in last 5 years. Just think about your special feelings or places you where visited together, may some simple thing can remind to him about your special moment. You also can choose some quote from good book or movie.
If you are just a new couple and still have lot of ''should be' emotions is in the air, you can choose some very traditional design for man from our own collection and add your text to it. Any tree design, like - Olivier (Olive tree), Tree of knowledge, some geometric pattern like Squares, could be good for man.
If you are looking for gift to young woman, small wild flowers or any other fine flower pattern like Wild Poppies, Rose Buds, Spring Blossom, Poppy Row or single Sunflower would be very appropriate choose, just add her's name or some sentence to it an it will be great. Flowers in full blossom specially roses or peonies will be great gift to mom.
All flowers has its own story to tell and it own meaning, symbolism, even historically and culturally same flowers could be interpreted differently. For example Chrysanthemums generally symbolize longevity, fidelity, joy and optimism, but it also remind us of autumn. Swiss cheese plant or Monstera deliciosa plant with its magnificent leaves was very popular in 20th century 60s - 70s and still are very common plant almost in every house in the world and it still has its special place French Riviera houses, this plant also is often presented in artworks of famous mid-century french artists, who lived and work here at that time.
I will write more about flowers, plants and its symbolism or place in culture and history soon again as I had studied biology and botany always was my favorite subject I always love to learn more about different flowers and plants.
My favorite Cats Love design or any other design with cute cat is also cute to express your feelings to some closed one. Remember cat at home is our communicator with other dimensions and we are living in its field :)
Flower of Life or any other sacred geometric design will be a good reminder of natural circle of life and universal order.
If you love to talk about essence of life and try to find your own matrix and quantum loops you can choose some more philosophic design from psychedelic design collection.
It is really to hard give any suggestion from my side, because I do not know you and your friend, your mom, wife or husband, but I hope some of my reflections will initiate your own ideas.
If you would like to engrave your own image, you should choose it should choose big good quality image at least 900 px wide in size (size of image you can see in google under each photo as numbers like this 900 x 600).
Send it us on email and we will help you to get it done.

The most powerful force from the heart would be enough to shoot water six feet into the air. The amount of force that is actually needed to move the blood through the entire length of the body’s blood vessels would lift a one hundred pound weight one mile high.
The heart has its own stored memories and processes meaning within a variety of emotional experiences.
The heart is vastly more than a muscular pump. It is one of the most powerful electromagnetic generators and receivers known. It is, in fact, a highly sensitive organ of perception and communication.
The oscillating electromagnetic waves of the heart emit waves 5000 times more powerful than the brain. This is measurable by modern instruments up to 10 feet from the body.

]]>Why 5th november is date we should remember?
5th November is known as the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 when Guy Fawkes joined a group of English Catholics and attempted to assassinate Protestant King James. He planted 900 kg of gunpowder in the cellar of the Palace of Westminister.
His plan was discovered by Thomas Knyvett keeper of the Whitehall Palace and assassination failed. The palace was being searched after the assassination plan was revealed through an anonymous letter.
Londoners celebrated the failed plot by lighting bonfires and a few months later Parliament declared November 5 Guy Fawkes Day. Various nursery rhymes and poems were spawned to commemorate the historic event including the one featured in V For Vendetta.
